Hello

We are so pleased to meet you, dear anonymous fans of our blog! You’re probably wondering who created this musical blog and why, so we want to give you some more information.

Who Are We

If there’s one phrase that can describe our little collective, it is – we love music and we can be very annoying by constantly talking about it! We decided to stop torturing our loved ones with facts such as ‘The album is not called Led Zeppelin IV, it literally has no name, stop referring to it that way in favour of giving this precious information to you, the readers who actually care to listen!

Since we all love music, but we have very (and we mean it) different tastes in music, we wanted to be able to express our own opinions on our own terms. This is why you’ll be able to find articles on various musical topics with various structures and writing styles.

How It Started

During one of the many lockdowns (does anyone keep the count?), we were just relaxing at our apartment (we’re flatmates), and we were trying to think of something to do together. We had already baked every bread you can think of, and we were running out of ideas by then.

We missed going to live performances of our favourite artists, but we thought that we could keep the festival spirit alive by writing about our beloved musicians instead! This was a way to cope with the lack of concerts and with the lockdown boredom, so we decided to start a blog where we could all explore topics that we enjoyed talking about with each other.

Types of Content on Our Blog

Our main motivation for creating this website was to have fun while writing about things and people in the music industry. Therefore, each one of us contributes to the blog as they see fit. This means that the only overarching theme of our blog is music. There can be articles about new albums, or lifetime work, or musical awards, or even some curious facts you might not know about your favourite band!

Initially, we will publish articles about our own personal favourites. However, we plan to broaden our horizons by exploring artists and genres we haven’t encountered yet as we view this website as our journey into the world of music, and we’re excited to venture into the unknown!

To the Readers

You now know what motivated us to create this blog and what type of content we aim to deliver. We don’t know anything about you though! We’re excited to meet our readers and ask them why they frequent our music blog. Are there any musicians among you? Are there any music journalists? Tell us why and how you ended up reading our articles because we’re very curious to know.

We also encourage you to contact us and give us feedback on our work because we’re only just starting, and there are many things that we don’t know about blogging yet. We can’t wait to hear from you!
